Going Green at Dunallan
From your hot morning shower provided by our Biomass Wood Pellet Boiler, to when you dry yourself with our fresh and fluffy line dried towels, and even as you feast on our delicious locally sourced breakfast, you can rest assured that you have been kind to our planet.
We pride ourselves on our extensive recycling, and have even been rated “excellent” by Zero Waste Scotland. The chickens even help as their eggshells are baked into the food that feeds them, and we even recycle all our plastic caps which go towards making wheelchairs, as well as everything in between being responsibly recycled.
We also use our own extensive composting system and collected rainwater to sustain and nourish our lovely eco garden, designed specifically to attract our local birds, bees and other pollinating insects. And of course our guests are welcome to sit, relax and enjoy our garden, while the wildlife does the hard work!
